Honorary Patronage of 100 gecs

100 gecs are an American music duo consisting of Laura Les and Dylan Brady. They first began collaborating musically in 2015, after meeting in high school in St Louis. Their music defies easy categorisation and has been critically lauded for its experimental style, fusing electronic genres in an unforgettable way.
They self- released their debut album, 1000 Gecs in 2019 which was described as "one of the year's most fascinating, exhilarating experimental pop albums." This album was followed by 1000 Gecs and the Tree of Clues in July 2020 and became their first entry onto the Billboard 200 album charts. This too was critically acclaimed and was praised for its "infectious absurdity" and "genre-blending."
100 gecs have racked up over 40 million streams on Spotify and counting and are hugely influential on the PC and electronic music scene, breathing fresh new life into pop music.
It was an honour to welcome 100 gecs to the Phil in February 2021.
