Final Space Season 3 Episode 2 Recap "The Hidden Light"

Gary and Quinn go to Earth while Avocato and the gang get in a web of trouble. Tribore goes on paternity leave with Quatronostro.

Avocato, Rex, Sheryl, Ash, and Little Cato get captured by arachnitects. Just when the arachnitects offer to protect them, Lord Commander shows up out of nowhere and destroys the arachnitects. He captures the group and demands to know where Mooncake is.

Also, the arachnitects reveal that they created Final Space to seal away Invictus and the titans, but they escaped from their imprisonment and disposed of the arachnitects that were left as guards, except for the three talking to them now.

Mooncake and Bolo create a sword out of a red dwarf in preparation for their battle against Oreskis, a titan whom Bolo has beef with.

On Earth, Gary is captured by a Boba Fett looking K.V.N., who takes him to the underground bunker of Kevin Van Newton, the creator of K.V.N.s and the last survivor of Earth. Van Newton tells Gary and Quinn that Quinn told him to make a new ship, which Quinn doesn't remember. Though she does name the ship The Galaxy 2. H.U.E. uploads himself into the Galaxy 2. Gary figures out that it was Nightfall who requested that Van Newton make the ship. Gary, Quinn, and Hue (with the annoying K.V.N.) head out to search for the others while Van Newton stays on Earth to fix the Far Gate/ Star Gate / interdimensional transporter device.
