How Did Hitchcock Create Psycho?

Hitchcock didn't like the strict rules of the Hays Code, which governed Hollywood films at that time. During the production of 'Psycho,' he used clever tactics to get around these rules. He deliberately included violent and nude scenes in the film to divert attention from other shots he wanted to keep.

He also convinced the officials that a toilet scene, which was usually banned by the Hays Code, was essential to the movie's plot.
When the censors asked him to reshoot a suggestive scene in 'Psycho,' Hitchcock pretended not to understand their written instructions and asked them to come to the set to explain in person. This strategy worked magic for him because the censors didn't come, which allowed him to keep the scene as it was.
