OK BUT I NEVER KNEW ABOUT THOSE SCENIC CHAIR RIDES UNTIL I SAW A TIKTOK ABOUT IT?! I've never even been to Lee Canyon so that was cool to discover for the first time!! I was blown away at how gorgeous the views actually were. Definitely did not feel like you were even in the Vegas vicinity. The recreational area even had a cute looking lil restaurant/bar, cafe, and other various activities like cornhole, axe throwing, archery, and disc golf!!

It wasn't even busy and I went on a labor day weekend...
I feel like a lot of Vegas locals aren't aware of that amazing lil gem. Also enjoyed the Bristlecone Trail that is accessible from the recreation area. I didn't get to do the full trail because the sun was going down, but I definitely want to go back to finish it.

From the Lee Canyon website:
"Bristlecone Trail is a moderate 6.5-mile loop that takes you through a winding forest of ponderosa pines, eventually leading to a scenic overlook with a grove of ancient bristlecone pines. Incredibly, some of these trees can live to be over 4,800 years old!"

Super fun, very family friendly day trip - highly recommend checking it out. Let me know if you do!
