In this video, I will discuss more ADVANCED affixes of Tagalog verbs-- MAKA-, MAKI-, MAKIPAG-, MAGPA-, and IPAG.

• IKA- → feelings or states caused by something
• IPANG- → tool or purpose
• PAKI- → polite requests
• PA- → causative or repetitive
• MAGPAKA- → to strive to be
• MAG- + REDUPLICATION → habitual or playful actions
They add flavor, nuance, and subtle stuffs like ability, cooperation, causation, and purpose. It’s like going from plain rice… to garlic fried rice. Same base, but so much tastier.
