This is how to train your hair to not to be greasy fast and how to accomplish washing your hair only once a week.

➻ Now I can finally say after 4 months of training my hair to not to be greasy that now I wash my hair once a week and I absolutely love it! My hair used to be so greasy that I would literally wash my hair and on the same day my hair would look like a piece of melted butter. So I’ll get so frustrated and insecure cuz in the past I got people commenting on it that I would end up washing my hair the next, and then the next day and so on.

➻ This is exactly why your hair gets greasy so fast: washing your hair everyday or every other day. I never thought that was wrong, all the opposite I thought that's how you keep your hair healthy and clean. But I was so wrong washing your hair everyday strips the natural oils that your scalp produces so when your scalp is dry (from washing your hair everyday) the only thing he can do is to compensate for the lack of oil by overproducing oil. Make sense right?

➻ I’m not gonna tell you that in one week your hair is gonna stop being greasy because that’s not happening. It took me almost 4 months to be able to reduce my hair wash routine from every 2 days to once a week.
