Celebration Time! - Metal Detecting MORE of America's Oldest Coins Outside a 1700’s General Store!

In metal detecting there some spots that are pretty good and you'll find some interesting things and some older coins. But then there are spots that are just plain magical and you find undisturbed coins that have laid there since the earliest times of our country! Last week we just got permission to one of these locations but it was late in the day. Even with the few hours we spent scouting it, we were able to find 6 coins dating back to the 1700's including 2 New Jersey State Coppers, a Connecticut Copper, a Liberty Cap, and more! Well this week we go back for a full day of hunting and push on to new areas as well. Back in Colonial times there was a general store on this property that would have had all sorts of people coming in and exchanging money. Let's find out just what they might have dropped!
