Roommate shoots, kills landlord over eviction dispute, Las Vegas police say

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting reported Thursday evening near West Gowan Road and North Fort Apache Road.

According to police, a call was received around 4:45 p.m. reporting an argument between roommates that escalated into a shooting.

Authorities said one of the roommates, who was also the landlord, was attempting to evict another roommate.
