Today we are addressing one of the most common comments we receive, "Blackberries are food, don't cut them down or waste them!" Did you know Himalayan blackberries are an invasive species in America? And they are an even bigger threat here in the Pacific Northwest where they are growing so rapidly.

We cut blackberries down because we prefer native vegetation and not some infested thorny bush parcels of land that can't be used. But I guess it all comes down to the age-old saying "To each their own".
