Diane - The Day before you Came

Diane's video for this classic song, which was Abba's 100th hit and one of the lead songs in their planned, but unreleased, 'last' album OPUS 10. It follows a woman's daily routine before being interrupted by the arrival of a lover, and interestingly part of Opus 10 may well have been planned as an account of a love story from start to finish: "Just Like That", un unreleased number and one of Abba's best-ever songs (a demo of it can be found on Youtube), was the tale of what happens to the woman in the course of the affair, "Under Attack" (musically quoted in the opening bars of "Just Like That") describes her state of mind when he appears.... this video is also a little story of one of Diane's typical days in town! xxx
