JnW - The Day Before You Came (ABBA Lip Sync Video)

1996. My old school friend (also an ABBA fan) and I decided to try our hand at making music videos. Of course we would use an ABBA song. We used my dad's video camera. I was the camera man on this one. Needless to say it wasn't professional by any means, one camera one shot, and having no video editing tools at all we had to improvise. Hence the long blank screen in the middle of the song. We wanted it to look like J was travelling by train, so we used some footage from one of our family holidays and played it over the tv. J sat in front of the tv which made it look like he was sitting in front of a window. It kind of worked but for obvious reasons you can see that it is a tv and video footage. Anyway, he lip synced to the song and we lowered the pitch of the song so it doesn't look too weird when you see a man singing. This was the result. The source is from the video tape I dug up recently. Because the tape is badly damaged during this video I had trouble getting the voice synced up to the video. I did the best I could.
