📚 Description: In today's video we do a review of the new for 2020 Fender 70th Anniversary Broadcaster and gather some of my first impressions. This is a great tele that reissues some of the original specs of the Broadcaster. It is very vintage and twangy in tone. If you're looking for that sound, these '50/'51 Hand Wound Custom Shop pickups will get you there.

We also discuss the history of the telecaster - from it's first form the Esquire, to the 2nd being the Broadcaster, the 3rd as the Nocaster and finally the 4th and final Telecaster form.

Gretsch is now manufactured and distributed by Fender, but is not owned by them. Due to this, Fender is now allowed to reissue the "Broadcaster." This started in 2002
