Fender 70th Anniversary Broadcaster

Fender's 70th Anniversary Broadcaster, released in 2020, is a fitting tribute to a classic that has stood the test of time and will probably carry on for another 70 years at least. It stays largely true to the original with the exception of the truss rod (essential), slightly larger frets than would have been fitted in 1950, and the more modern wiring (retro 'kit' supplied in case). Many will purchase these for their collectibility and/or investment value; I waited patiently and bought this one to play. And play it I will because it's fantastic.
I must apologise, also: The amp model used was actually the '65 Twin, not the Deluxe Reverb as I said in the video. (I thought it had a little too much headroom! Haha). Also, as correctly pointed out in a comment below, it was the early Esquire that went without the truss rod. Oh, the shame..!
This video was not sponsored or commissioned. I gladly paid for the guitar and produced the video as, hopefully, a service to other players.
Happy Christmas everyone. Thank you for your support and friendship during 2020. I hope 2021 is a better year for you and for the world.
