Taco Skillet - Easy Dinner Recioe

Taco skillet 🌮

1 onion
4-5 cloves garlic
1 bag frozen peppers
1 can of black beans, rinsed
1 can of fire roasted tomatoes
1 taco seasoning packet
1 lb of ground chicken
2 cups of shredded Monterey Jack cheese
Avocado oil as needed

1. Heat up a pan to medium heat, add oil then add one chopped onion. Sauté 2 minutes, add frozen peppers, sauté another 3-5 minutes. Push the onion and peppers to the side, add more oil, then one pound of ground meat.
2. Leave meat untouched 3 minutes to develop sear, after 3 minutes, sauté to meat until almost all the pink is gone. Then sauté meat, omion, and pepper together. Add your chopped garlic here, then add your taco seasoning pocket.
3. Stir together, lower heat, add black beans and tomatoes and combine.
4. Turn off the heat, shred 2 cups of Monterey Jack (mine has jalapeños), cover the skillet with cheese and cover with foil. Leave rested for 10 minutes.
5. After 10 minutes uncover and enjoy!!!
