The Romance of the Bansuri was part of the 'Colours of India' season event in Milapfest's 25th Anniversary Celebrations at The Capstone Theater, Liverpool.
Rakesh Chaurasia is child prodigy and the nephew of flute maestro Pandit Hariprasad Chaurasia. The most accomplished disciples of his uncle, he shows all the promises to carry the Chaurasia legacy to new fantastic heights. Rakesh is well known for his ability to play the Bamboo Flute with an incredible amount of strength and serenity, creating a sound which is beautiful, exhilarating and soothing. Rakesh is accompanied by two much- loved and highly regarded maestros, Bhavani Shankar on Pakhawaj and Vijay Ghate on Tabla.
