Radio One Remote Control Session - FORGOTTEN GUESTS

This could be Paris, this could be Helsinki, this could be Mars. We don't care no more.

It's official -- this is the biggest New Zealand Music Month ever, and Radio One is taking live local music to a new level with 'The Remote Control Sessions' in 2011.

Beaming from secret locations around the world, Radio One live streamed a mix of favourites and astonishing newcomers every Wednesday and Friday on Drive (4-7pm) in May 2011.

These performances point to the future of Kiwi music -- digital technology bringing it to the world from anywhere with an internet connection.

The line-up was almost too good to believe, with the enigmatic MAYBE PILE (6 May), discotrash love gods MANTHYNG (11 May), the groundbreaking PSYCHIC MAPS (May 13), the exquisite FORGOTTEN GUESTS (18 May), southern gothics FREDDY FUDD PUCKER (20 May), hip-hop spaced invaders MENTAL HEALTH TRIANGLE (25 May), and seminal Clean/The Bats singer-songwriter ROBERT SCOTT (27 May)
