Bolivia protests: Morales supporters killed in clashes with police | DW News

In Bolivia, five people have been killed in clashes between police and supporters of exiled former President Evo Morales. Protesters say authorities opened fire on them. Morales is in exile in Mexico after resigning last Sunday over allegations of election fraud in what he claims was a coup to depose him. The ongoing unrest at home in Bolivia is threatening attempts by the government of Interim President Jeanine Anez to restore stability.
