Track Contact Form 7 with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager (2021)

Learn how to track Contact Form 7 with Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager.

Contact Form 7 is one of the most popular form plugins on Wordpress. However, the built-in functionality within Google Tag Manager cannot track it out of the box. You need to do some tweaks first (create a listener, trigger, etc.).

Once you do that, tracking Contact Form 7 with GA4 will be fairly easy.

Since Google Analytics 4 is fairly new, I believe that it might be a bit challenging to track form submissions the first time. But in this video, you’ll learn how to do it the right way.
