Buying A Farm And Fixing The Barn
Sarah and I bought part of a farm, that sits kitty corner to our house. The parcel is 68.9 acres. About 2/3 is treed with a mix of hardwoods and cedars. The other 1/3 of the property is work fields. There is a large barn, chicken coop, and carriage house on the property as well. All the buildings have been neglected for quite some time, and as a result the barn is in very poor condition. For the time being we have built a temporary support beam in the basement, and installed bracing on the main level to stabilize the roof and walls where they're falling in. This is the first video of many that will cover fixing the barn, and someday fully restoring it to its former glory. We plan on using the barn for our wedding venue some day. First clip was August 25, 2022 and the final clip is April 28, 2023
