This video explains how a diamond goes from being a rough stone from the mines in Africa, Australia or Canada and anywhere else in the world, to being analysed by professional cutters in the diamond district in Belgium's Antwerp who mark the stone and decide how large or small a diamond they are going to make. The diamond is polished, rounded and graded before sent to the retailers.
