Living with a spinal cord injury can be difficult, especially when you don’t get the help you need and have to figure out things yourself. You feel alone like you are the only person in your situation. I know that adjusting to life after a spinal cord injury can be difficult! On January 19, 2015, I was paralyzed in a vehicle accident that resulted in me becoming a quadriplegic. I remember lying in a hospital bed wondering how I was going to live being paralyzed. I searched the internet for helpful videos but couldn’t find what I was looking for. I decided to figure out things myself and make my own videos to help you live life just like you would’ve able-bodied! My name is Mason Ellis, and I’m a C5 through C7 quadriplegic dedicated to mentoring people who have spinal cord injuries, helping people who have disabilities live life just like they would've able-bodied, and inspiring people who are able-bodied.
