Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin – Acceleration test

In this video I measure the acceleration and elasticity of the Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin on a short runway. Africa is without any accessories except Honda's quickshifter. Weight of the rider with gear is 113 Kg.

How fast can Honda CRF1100L Africa Twin hit 100 km/h and then 160 km/h? Maximum speed of the bike is electronically limited to 215 km/h, and you can very easily reach it on both 5th and 6th gear. The reall acceleration from 160 - 215 is actually stronger than you expect from 100 HP, quite heavy bike. Good job Honda!
