I visited all of Reykjavik's best museums and galleries, sampled the city's finest cuisine (including the dreaded hakarl!) and even voyaged to an abandoned island turned park. National Museum of Iceland
Althingi Parliament House and Austurvöllur, the Icelandic parliament and parliament square.
Sun Voyager statue and the Sculpture and shore walk

Reykjavik sea wall
Island of Videy / Viðey, the videy ferry, John Lennon Imagine Peace Tower and Skarfagarðs Lighthouse
Polar bear, Icewear and many other shops
Bæjarins Beztu Pylsur- Worlds best hotdogs, made famous by Bill Clinton
Bonus- perhaps Iceland's best supermarket
The Settlement Exhibition- a brilliant little underground museum with a real Viking longhouse
Reykjavik Maritime Museum
The National Gallery of Iceland- much quirkier than most national galleries!
Perlan Museum and Wonders Of Iceland- A really good museum to visit at the start of your trip to Iceland, explaining and introducing you to Iceland's natural landmarks. It has a real Ice cave, rotating restaurant, several floors of exhibitions and the best viewing platform in Reykjavik.
