Banana Bread in a Jar:
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of flour
1 tsp baking powder
a pinch of salt
3 ripe bananas, mashed
2 eggs
1/2 cup of yogurt
1 cup of sugar
nonstick spray

Preheat the oven to 350˚F (180˚C).
Prepare three pint-sized mason jars with nonstick spray or oil of choice to prevent sticking.
In a medium bowl, mash bananas and add eggs, yogurt, sugar and mix together. Add flour, salt and baking soda into mixture.
Mix until just combined.
Pour the batter into the mason jars, filling half of each jar. Do not add the lids.
Bake for 50 mins, or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle of the bread.
Allow to cool for 15 minutes before serving. These make wonderful gifts! By the way, you eat it straight from the mason:)

Fresh Summer Mason Jar Salad

Add about 1 cup of your favorite dressing at the bottom of the mason jar. Add sliced layers of veggies of your choice! So simple! When you turn this over into a bowl the dressing will be on top and will begin to distribute to the bottom. Can be used as a full meal or as a family side with pasta with fresh garlic and olive oil. Bon Appetit!
