Following the thrill of getting the members of the audience to clap along during his rendition of Dangurava Saarirayya, Prince Rama Varma unleashes one more sweet surprise, by taking the catchy Western Nottuswaram by Sri Muthuswamy Dikshitar on Goddess Meenakshi of Madurai and singing it faster and faster, with the delighted members of the audience clapping along.
It is interesting to see how a certain member of the audience starts out by composing text messages on his phone to begin with, but gets pulled in by the rhythm as the song becomes faster and faster, when he joins in enthusiastically!
Sri S.R.Vinu, Cherthala Sri Krishnakumar, Adichanallur Sri Anilkumar and Thirunakkara Sri Retheesh provide beautiful accompaniment to this heart warming rendition, which was held at the Neelakanta Sivan Sangeetha Sabha in Thiruvananthapuram, in July 2019.
