Once Laura moved inland and daylight came; there was utter destruction throughout her path. Lake Charles, LA suffered widespread damage in downtown as well as the out-lying areas. Surge from the storm came inland in Orange, TX and was pooled up throughout the next day. Submerged vehicles was seen near the harbor. Rolled mobile homes was an issue in Hackberry, LA. National Guard was rolling throughout the area as well.
