Tomorrow marks a huge day for determining how much of a payment increase all social security beneficiaries will receive, including SSI and SSDI. Social security retirees, SSI, and SSDI recipients can expect to receive a social security payment increase, which will be determined by the COLA given out. This is determined by the 3rd quarter CPI-W data from 2023 when compared against the 3rd quarter CPI-W data from 2022. Currently, the latest COLA increase prediction for social security is 2.7%, down from the prediction in May. Either way, it's apparent we will see increased payments for social security, SSI, and SSDI beneficiaries.
