Ovechkin's First 4 Goal Game (12/29/2007)

December 29, 2007 - While his most memorable 4-goal game came on January 31st, his first actually happened just over a month earlier in the Capitals' final game of 2007. Despite an injured leg which almost made him miss the game against the conference-leading Ottawa Senators, Alex Ovechkin put on a show notching his first career 4-goal and 5-point effort. The 4th goal in his milestone night was also his 30th of the year, marking the first of two times in his career he has hit 30 goals before the New Year. Hopefully I can get a slightly better quality copy of this with the CSN call, granted having the legendary Bob Cole on Hockey Night in Canada isn't too bad either.
