Early School Success: How Donors Can Help Young Children Recover Learning + Accelerate Gains

With the pandemic leaving so many more children stranded on the wrong side of even larger opportunity and achievement gaps, there is renewed urgency for smart investing to promote equitable learning recovery. Early School Success: Recover Learning and Accelerate Gains, a downloadable primer developed by the Center for High Impact Philanthropy (CHIP) in partnership with the Campaign for Grade-Level Reading, provides an online guide for those individuals and families who want to utilize their philanthropy and organizations to meet the moment and make a meaningful difference when and where it matters most. The primer lifts up and highlights three mission-critical and investment-worthy priorities: (1) support the whole child; (2) expand learning opportunities; and (3) assure digital equity.
