Welcome back to part 3 of the first time buyers house buying vlogs! I left you on a bit of a cliff hanger last time I shared a house buying vlog with you, and I didn't mean for there to be such a gap in between but with being so poorly and wanting to share all the no buy year and no spend challenge content before 2020 started there's been a bit of a gap - hope you understand!

So, something crazy happened - we offered on a house! And...it got accepted!! We would never have been able to do this without the help to buy equity loan, and I will probably do a separate video on that if you'd like to see it, as well as a video on the mortgage process, the exchange etc as there's a lot to talk about. I have been watching lots of first time buyers house buying vlogs and house moving vlogs etc because they are really informative and interesting - so I hope you also find this helpful!

As you know, we were doing a no buy year in 2019 to help save for a house, and without that commitment to add to our existing savings we would have taken so much longer to save for a deposit. We still need to save a little more, and we weren't intending on buying a house so soon, but sometimes things happen for a reason and maybe now is the right time to buy a house!

I've been to see the new house a few times and each time I fall more in love with it! I hope you like part 3 of the first time buyers house buying vlog!
