Her daily commute is unlike any other. Instead of hopping on a bus or train, she rides a 50-year-old zipline using a homemade harness and brake. Tucked away in the Colombian mountains, this zipline connects two small villages. The 3-hour-long dangerous mountain trail can be crossed in just 30 seconds on the zipline. It might look a little risky with no safety net below, but there are some rules in place. To soften the landing, she uses brakes made from branches. Also, children must be accompanied by an adult. If they’re too small to wear the harness, they just ride in a bag instead. Thankfully, there haven’t been any child fatalities so far. Wanna give it a try?
