MDT 2010 : Using the $OEM$ Folder

In this tutorial we are going to take a look at the $OEM$ folder in our Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) share. As a simple example we will copy the corporate wallpaper to machines during the installation. Sure, I could build the wallpaper into the image; however that would require adding it to all images and, when the wallpaper becomes out-dated I would have to corresponding update all installation images. Using the folder I simply need to add the updated wallpaper to the folder.
