World Environment day Sir MVIT 2

The Nisarga and Spandana clubs celebrated World Environment Day on 5th June 2025 with a series of vibrant and educational activities. The event began with an awareness talk by Ms. Roopa S., Founder of Jeevanmukhi Trust, addressing pressing environmental issues. Over 80 students and staff attended the event. A plantation drive followed, promoting campus greenery. Post-lunch, over 40 students participated in competitions including an environmental quiz, eco-coding challenge, essay writing and a treasure hunt. Dr. Rashmi K.V., Associate Professor, Department of Biotechnology, served as the esteemed judge for the essay writing competition. The event was coordinated by Ms. Bhavya S., faculty mentor of the Nisarga club, and Dr. Rashmi K.V., faculty mentor of the Spandana club, with the support of 20 active student volunteers.
