Logitech MX Master Scroll Wheel Unbalanced Quick Fix S2 Imbalanced Scrolling Problem

This fixes the MX master but I've heard the issue is also found with the S2 model, I assume it would work for that too.

I've seen a video where a guy placed a tiny little home made spring inside the mouse, where the spring rubs slightly on the wheel stopping it from swinging back. This video is for those who don't want to open up their mice just yet.

Another fix I imagine would work is tiny pieces of blue tack (or black tack if you got it or can colour it lol), placed between the black ridge rails on the wheel to balance the weight out while making the pieces small enough so you wouldn't feel them when scrolling.

My wheel has quite the obvious wheel wobble and would be visually easy to balance with added weight but a quicker fix is the tape fix so I went with that.
Edit: A month later this fix still works without any adjusting of the tape. Not a bad semi permanent fix.
