The meatball is a dish based on meat, vegetables or fish, spices and herbs mixed in egg yolks, flour and breadcrumbs and served at the table as a second course. Once the dough has been prepared, small portions are gradually taken which, crushed and worked by hand, reach the characteristic round shape. They can be stewed, baked or fried.
