'Window Shopping' is a term I coined for a person who's a looker, not a buyer. How can you tell the difference between the attention of someone who's really interested, and that of someone who's stroking their ego by engaging you in flirtation?
In this Huffington Post interview by behavioral scientist Clarissa Silva, she quotes me as saying: “Window shopping is the term I use for the individual who gains your attention by flirting and chatting you up online or IRL, yet has no intention of involvement. On your end, you think they’re interested. On their end, they’re wasting your time for their amusement.”
