Songwriter Christian Obar has been a fan of ASOP since it started. "Lagi Kang Nariyan" was his second song entry that qualified in Year 2. The first one was "Ikaw ang Ngayon, Bukas, at Kailanman" for Year 1 which was interpreted by former Imago member, Aia de Leon.

Prince of Ballad Gerald Santos sang his Year 2 entry in the Grand Finals Night which consequently won 2nd runner-up.
