i've wanted to delve into this topic a lot recently watching the way kanye's career has shifted and how he searched for and then seemingly fell away from God. i have a lot of thoughts about this song as a creative type myself, an artist, but also as a follower of God. i don't want my friends to make the same mistakes the last generation did, and together i know we can do better.

i also take a lot from this song and album and many others from kanye generally as inspiration for my own creative projects, be that music, art, writing, or in a more abstract way, game development.
