Origins and Cultural Significance of Nowruz (Persian New Year)
On March 15, 2021, the Persian Studies program celebrated the Iranian New Year, Nowruz, with a special presentation from Dr. Touraj Daryaee, Masseeh Chair in Persian Studies and Culture, and Director of the Dr. Samuel M. Jordan Center for Persian Studies and Culture at the University of California, Irvine.
This event was funded in part by the Jalinous Endowed Fund for Persian Studies.
