Oil Painting for Beginners in Plain Speech: Painting Clouds (Part 5 of 8)

In this video I show you how to paint realistic clouds easily, and also show you how to avoid painting clouds that look like cotton balls. Clouds are one of the things people ask me about often, and hopefully this video will settle any fears or doubts you have about creating painted clouds.

I made this series because my son and mom both agreed that although they find my tutorial videos entertaining, they don't feel like they have enough knowledge of what particulars are required to even BEGIN oil painting, let alone jump into and follow one of my other videos.

So, in short, this series is my way of explaining to people who have absolutely no knowledge of oil painting how they can start, from what they need to have to how to use it. If they follow the series, they will hopefully have a beautiful painting of mountains when they finish.

This series totals over three hours of time, which is admittedly a great deal. However, I deliberately slowed everything down to explain each detail of the process so that someone who has wondered if they could paint can attempt it without feeling overwhelmed. If you are already familiar with a particular portion of the series, by all means, skip ahead to a point where you think you would benefit from further instruction.
