Measurements for 2-Year-Old Girl:
• Chest: 21 inches
• Waist: 20 inches
• Shoulder to Waist Length: 7 inches
• Total Frock Length: 18 inches
• Armhole: 9 inches (round)
• Sleeve Length (Cap Style): 3 inches
• Shoulder Width: 8.5 inches
• Neck Width: 4.5 inches
• Neck Depth (Front): 3 inches
• Neck Depth (Back with Keyhole): 5 inches
Materials Required:
• Cotton fabric – 1 meter
• Matching thread
• Cotton lace for yoke and sleeve design (optional)
• Hooks or buttons for back neck closure
• Measuring tape
• Fabric chalk or marker
• Sewing machine
• Scissors
• Overlock machine (optional)

Cutting Instructions:
1. Bodice (Front and Back):
• Front bodice: On fold – Width = 11.5", Length = 7.5" (with seam)
• Back bodice: Two pieces – Width = 6.5" each, Length = 7.5" (including center opening for keyhole)
2. Skirt (Circle Cut Style):
• Use the formula for full circle skirt
• Waist radius (for 20"): R ≈ 3.2 inches
• Skirt length: 11 inches (18” total – 7” bodice = 11” skirt)
• Cut a full circle for 20" waist + ½ inch seam
3. Cap Sleeves (2 pieces):
• Cut crescent shapes based on 9" armhole
• Length: 3 inches
• Add lace on the edge if desired
4. Tie Belts:
• 2 strips – Width = 2", Length = 18" each
Stitching Steps:
1. Join Front & Back Bodice:
o Stitch shoulder seams
o Attach front and back bodice pieces at the shoulders
2. Neck Finishing:
o Sew a bias strip or facing for clean neckline
o Create a keyhole opening at the back and finish with facing
o Add loop and button or hook for closure
3. Attach Cap Sleeves:
o Overlock sleeve raw edges
o Place and stitch cap sleeves from front to back armhole
o Optional: Add lace on sleeve edge for detail
4. Sew Side Seams:
o Join the bodice side seams
5. Prepare & Attach Skirt:
o Overlock circle skirt edges
