The American Iceland Collection - Episode Two - Western Iceland

This video is the continuation of the American Iceland Collection, Episode Two, of the central western part of Iceland, where the large Florida like peninsula expands westward. All cinematography, video recording, and editing was completed by Patrick Gorski Photography LLC, Chicago, IL, United States. This was recorded on the journey of my second day on December 14 around the Golden Circle along Route 1 heading towards Kirkjufell Mountain. The sun is only up for a limited time in the winter, hence why some of the video seems to be taken at night when it was 10am at the time of recording. Interacting with the Icelandic people was strange to the fact, they were scared of the sun essentially. It is quite an opposite way of how life is lived compared to parts on Earth that are more southern and closer to the equator. People live a more humbled and connected to the environment way of life there.
