Brown-headed parrot

I couldn't help smiling watching this little parrot as he reflected how I felt that afternoon. I am one of those people suffering from serious FOMO when I enter the Kruger. As usual I was not going to let 40°C heat prevent me from an afternoon drive. Half way to the gate at Berg en Dal campsite next to the pool, I could hear his lazy chirping. It honestly looked like he was calling only to keep himself from falling asleep.
