AVALANCHE!!! | Everest Base Camp Trek Day 4 | Namche Bazaar To Tengboche

How can this hike possibly get prettier? Spoiler alert: it can, and it will. On Everest Base Camp Day 4, we finally said goodbye to Namche Bazaar and walked approximately 5 hours to the hilltop village a Tengboche, complete with a gorgeous Buddhist monastery and 360º views of the towering Himalayas.

We also crossed off our strangest bucket list item yet: to see a full scale avalanche! Avalanches are very common in this region as the snow begins to loosen with the warming spring temperatures, but thankfully no one was hurt and made for one hell of an afternoon. 😂
