Today we review Glendronach 12 Year Old Original Review. Glendronach 12 is a highland single malt Scotch Whiskey bottled at 43% abv. Glendronach 12 Year Old is true one of the most affordable whiskey that you can get to try or gift. YI would do so far as to consider it a cheap whiskey brand for it’s complex tasting notes.

The Glendronach whiskey brand has a historic history of using Sherry Oak Casks to age their whiskey which gives the Glendronach 12 it’s exquisite sweet fruity flavour. This superb richly sherried single malt is matured for at least 12 years in a combination of the finest Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. Non-chill filtered, of natural colour and bottled at 43%, the GlenDronach 12 year old Original is a sweet, creamy dram. Glendronach distillery is a Scottish whisky distillery located near Forgue. The distillery was founded in 1826 by James Allardes as the second distillery to apply for a licence to legally produce whisky under the Excise Act of 1823, which passed three years earlier and which allowed for the distilling of Whisky in Scotland.
