Toyota Venza AWD V6 | Diagonal AWD test

The Toyota Venza’s Active Torque Control AWD System optimizes torque distribution between the front and rear wheels. But not side to side! An all-wheel-drive system is available with both engines. It's a simple on-demand front-biased AWD system: the power is always sent to the front wheels. When needed, an electric clutch engages the rear axle. In terms of maintenance, the Venza AWD system has a transfer unit and a rear differential. The Venza AWD uses a system called TRAC. The Toyota Venza’s TRAC system works by constantly monitoring the tires, and when they begin to slip, the TRAC system provides extra traction and grip that is necessary to accelerate safely and efficiently on slippery or wet surfaces. The system does this by either applying the brakes or slowing down the engine in order to maintain contact between the tires and the road. So if you take a Toyota Venza Off Road or in the snow, make sure you look at that video!

Test note: We are surprised! The Toyota Venza AWD pass the diagonal test! But don't turn off the traction control ( TRAC ) or it will be a smoke show!
