Has Jace Set Phyrexians Free in Reality Fracture??

With Jace fragmenting reality, will we see Phyrexians return?

Phyrexians have a LONG and rich history in Magic. In recent memory, Phyrexians are most well know for the Phyrexian invasion.

Led by Elesh Norn, Mother of the Machines, several Praetor generals took to several different planes through the Planar bridge.

Through this, Vorinclex took a piece of the World Tree from Kaldheim. Elesh Norn took this and created a Phyrexian version of the World Tree - Realmbreaker. And Realmbreaker could pierce the blind eternities, essentially tearing Omenpaths to deliver Phyrexians directly into a plane.

Several planeswalkers attempted to levy an attack to strike at the heart of the Phyrexians but they found their efforts planned for and repelled.

It’s the ln that Wrenn and Chandra devised a separate plan - Wrenn could merge with Realmbreaker and use it’s temporal abilities to reach out to Teferi in the phased out plane of Zhalfir.

From here, Wrenn and Realmbreaker pushed New Phyrexia close enough to Zhalfir so the incredible infantry of the plane could invade.

From here, Wrenn pushed to swap the planes, causing New Phyrexia to enter the temporal realm Zhalfir once occupied, phasing Nee Phyrexia out, deactivating the glistening oil.
