Book Review: A Thousand Brains by Jeff Hawkins

A top read for 2021, as suggested by Bill Gates. I was so impressed with the ground covered that I created this review. To tease you. We need to remove the “I” from A.I.

We need to change our view that Terminator-style machines will run around to eliminate us. The author presents a groundbreaking neuroscience theory to suggest that intelligence is agnostic to good and evil. Phew, we can all sleep easier now.

The video covers five areas that I took away: artificial intelligence, slippery slope, movement, cortical columns, and 1000 Brains. And oh yes, movement. Movement is key to intelligence. Want to know more? Just watch the video!
