The house was very warm and cozy, with two bunk beds, a fireplace, a dining table, a bookshelf, and other necessary furniture. The fireplace warmed the room very well, and the wooden walls retained heat for a long time. This home has been well thought out to be comfortable to live in during the harshest winter weather. That is exactly what was happening now. The radio reported that the frost reached -40 ° F, and the wind speed up to 20 meters per second. The purpose of my stay here was rather unusual. I was sent here for an internship from the Geological Institute where I studied. One of the places to stay in this house was allocated for me. At the institute, I received the key to the house, the exact address of its location, and a notebook for the internship. I was also told that I would receive all other information from the team leader. Four days later, two more students and the supervisor of our group were to arrive. When I arrived here, the house was empty, there was no one here. It was a little scary at first, but then I got used to it and just enjoyed the wonderful winter atmosphere. I chose the best, in my opinion, sleeping place on the second tier of the bed. Two windows were hung over it with a beautiful view of the winter forest and mountains. A snow storm was raging outside the window, flakes of snow flew past the windows at great speed. This view was mesmerizing, and I could admire it for hours on end. When I got bored, I read books, drank berry tea, played the guitar, or just slept. I rarely went outside, because in such weather it was not safe. The front door and the whole house were very strong, it gave me peace and a sense of security. The heat from the fireplace and the sound of crackling wood was very good for sleeping, and sleeping here was truly magical. So four days passed, and then the rest of the guys arrived, they were good people. A couple of days later, the snow storm ended and we successfully began to practice and explore the surrounding area and rocks. "
