A high-speed car rammed into pedestrians in the Italian city of Modena, leaving eight people injured, including four seriously wounded. CCTV footage captured the dramatic incident as the driver struck multiple people before crashing into a shop window and attempting to flee the scene. Passers-by chased and cornered the suspect, who reportedly injured one person with a knife during the escape attempt. Authorities identified the driver as a 31-year-old Italian man of Moroccan heritage with a history of mental health problems. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni later met the victims and cancelled a planned trip to Cyprus following the attack.
